It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 7-25-16

My son Sam and I are enjoying some books together this summer. And I’m also reading some books on my own.

Books I finished last week:

52 story treehouse

Sam and I finished The 52-Story Treehouse by Andy Griffiths and Illustrated by Terry Denton. Now we have to wait for the next book in the series to come out. While we are waiting we are going to read other books by Andy Griffiths.

I finished Full of Beans by Jennifer L. Holm (Out August 30, 2016)

I loved the audio book for Turtle in Paradise! In fact Turtle in Paradise is my favorite book by Jenni Holm. So I was excited to read more about Beans and the Diaper Gang in the prequel to Turtle in Paradise! I loved learning more about Beans and his family. It was a funny and touching story about Beans and his community surviving the Great Depression. I highly recommend it!

So what did you love reading last week?

I really need to try some of Griffiths Treehouse series. They look like fun! I’ve totally heard of them and we have the electronic versions for school. The TBR list. It’s never ending!

  2. I love Jenni Holm, so I’m very excited to hear about Full of Beans, it sounds so good!!

I haven’t read any of these books! Jennifer L. Holm’s Babymouse Series is always popular at the school library and I might have read one of them. I’ve just put The Turtle in Paradise (as an audiobook) on hold at our public library.
