Books I finished last week:
I finished reading The Tiara on the Terrace by Kristen Kittscher. I’m excited to talk about this book TONIGHT: August 8th at 9 pm EST for the #Vbcbooks chat on Twitter! Have your questions ready for Kristen because she will be joining us for the chat! See you TONIGHT!
City Shapes would be a great book to use when introducing shapes or geometry. The students will really enjoy the illustrations and finding all the different shapes on each page. I really love the illustrations in this book.
Poor Little Guy has a fun and surprising ending. I think this book will make a great read aloud! I’m excited to see students reactions when I read it this coming school year.
So what are you reading this week?
Tiara on the Terrace looks like a fun read. Enjoy the chat tonight!
Thanks! The chat went well! A great mystery book! 🙂
I’m sitting here smiling to myself about Poor Little Guy. Honestly, kids are going to love it. I do.
I know, right? I can’t wait to read it aloud this year!
I really like the look of City Shapes – will have to find that one in our library soonest.
Yes! The illustrations are top notch!
I love Bryan Collier’s illustrations so I’m really looking forward to reading that one. Poor Little Guy looks like fun.
