Books I finished last week:
A powerful book that brought me back to that day fifteen years ago. The author does a wonderful job weaving four different stories/perspectives together. I think this is an important book for students to understand what happened on September 11, 2001 and how it changed us all.
I love this book for growing readers. Students need someone who will just enjoy listening to them read. The last time I was at my public library they had a dog there with his owner and children were reading to him. The kids absolutely loved it!
My son and I finished this book last week:
That Bad Kitty is so bad…..and funny! My son really enjoyed Bad Kitty and is excited to read the next book in the series.
So what have you enjoyed reading recently?
I brought Nine, Ten home from the library to read this week. I’m looking forward to it after all the good things I’ve heard about it.
Great book! Enjoy!
I think these chapter book Bad Kitty books are even more popular than the original picture books!
Agreed! I think the chapter books are more popular too. But I think it is great we have both! π
We have a reading dog program at my library, it’s really wonderful! There’s something beautiful about the way a quiet, patient, friendly dog just coaxes children out of their shells and helps them build their confidence. Really wonderful to see.
It is so adorable to see kids reading to a dog! π
I have each one on my list, still haven’t read them. Thanks for the reviews! I love your header, very nice!
Thank you, Linda! π
